For my professional project i am going to research into the history of my chosen fashion house Coco Chanel, and study in depth what was happening culturally and creatively in Paris in the 1920’s to 30’s the era in which she became possibly the worlds most famous fashion designer. By analyzing the history of transformation in Coco Chanel’s designs I hope to gain a good insight into why her designs were so popular, so that I can eventually then recreate the period as accurately as possible in my work.
I am really excited about this project, following my research i have gained a huge insight into Chanel's life and what it is she loves about fashion.
I am looking forward to producing a shoot that tells a story of a time in her life through fashion and ultimately recreate the spirt of Chanel.
